Diego Costa has been urged to hit the ground running at Chelsea.
The Spaniard will look to avoid the fate of £50m man Fernando Torres, 30, who has flopped in west London after completing his £32 million move from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.
And Andriy Shevchenko warned Costa there will be no settling-in period.
As quote on the Daily Star website, the Ukrainian said: “The best thing for Costa is to score and score early.
“That will be important to him.
