Powerhouse set to be part of summer Chelsea deal as move wanted

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel is set for a summer exit.

The Nigeria international looks set to end his eight year spell at Stamford Bridge this summer after falling down the pecking order, making just 12 starts this season.

Mikel has attracted the interest of a number of European sides including Inter Milan who seem extremely keen on a summer move and [FDN] understands that Chelsea would allow him to leave.

The 26-year-old joined Chelsea in 2006 after a controversial move saw him appear at Man United only to change his mind at the very last minute and join the Blues. (SportsDirectNews)

The man is solid but there are too many midfielders at the club, so no one can blame him for looking for a move
