Reports have come out and claimed Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has denied the club have been in talks to sign Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez and Chelsea’s Ferndnado Torres this summer.
The Nerazzurri secured the services of Hernanes from Lazio in January and announced Nemanja Vidic will join from United on a free in the summer last week.
Thohir has promised more big-name signings but refuted talk of a double swoop for Hernandez and Torres.
‘At the end of the season we will evaluate everything, both the young players and the more experienced ones,’ Thohir said at a press conference on Monday.
‘We want to build a strong squad for the future with a view not just to next season but to the next three.
‘I think he Hernandez is a good player. But we haven’t spoken to either him or Fernando Torres.’ (Metro)
