Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers reckons Luis Suarez is on course to become the first £100million player.
The superstar goal-machine has been in terrific form for Liverpool this season and has bagged himself an impressive twenty-eight goals.
However, he has been linked with some big moves to the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and even Arsenal.
And despite Rodgers keen to keep hold of the man, he thinks that Suarez could surpass the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale as the worlds most expensive player
As quoted on the Daily Mirror, he said: “He is certainly heading towards that,” said Rodgers.
“If you look at the top people in the world, the Ronaldos, the Messis, those who have been doing it for five or six years, he would be right at that level.
“Luis is certainly on his way towards that. His consistency has been phenomenal and what you see now is a more mature player.
“He is a world-class talent. Things evolve and times change. Time will tell.”
