Rodgers keen to bring bargain priced winger to Liverpool

Liverpool are in the hunt for Zenit St Petersburg attacker Danny.

The 30-year-old has little more than a year remaining on his contract in Russia and the cash-rich outfit are yet to thrash out an extension.

A source close to the Merseyside giants told FDN that boss Brendan Rodgers is an admirer of the player’s flexibility, as he is able to fill in on either flank and as a secondary striker.

The short length of his contract has given the Reds hope of luring him to Anfield without having to break the bank, and they hope to push through the move before this summer’s World Cup. (SportsDirectNews)

The man has a lot of class but is really not needed at Liverpool
