Lazio full back Luis Pedro Cavanda has opened the door to a move to Arsenal this summer, should Bacary Sagna leave the club like many expect him too.
The Gunners have failed to tie down the France international to a new deal with his current contract at the Emirates set to expire this summer, and many reports in the media claim he is ready for a change of scenery.
Cavanda has excelled for Lazio this term, fuelling speculation that the Gunners have identified him as Sagna’s long term replacement and he has left the door open to a summer move.
As quoted on the SportsDirectNews website, he said: “I must still grow and I have no intentions of stopping myself from doing so.
“Is Arsenal interested in me? I’ll think about these things with my agent soon, I don’t want to talk about it right now.”
