Spaniard admits interest in doing Chelsea business

On-loan Oriol Romeu is open to quitting Chelsea for good this summer.

The Spanish midfielder is wanted by Valencia, who would like to turn his season-long loan into a permanent deal after an impressive spell at the La Liga giants.

And with him having a year left on his contract with the Stamford Bridge club, the Daily Mirror website

Current manager Jose Mourinho has a number of players in his position already and may cash in if the price is right.

He said: “I’m very happy here.

“The latest we know is that Valencia are happy with me and they would like me to stay.

“I’m very comfortable here, but we’ll have to wait until the end of the season.

“I still have a year on my contract and anything can happen.

“It’s up to Chelsea to decide.”
