Former Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood has hinted that Roberto Martinez is the man the Gunners want to replace Arsene Wenger, if the Frenchman decides his time is up at the Emirates.
The Frenchman has still not agreed to a new deal at the Emirates and some reports have claimed he could make a summer move if he fails to win the club a trophy this year.
But attention has started to turn to what life would be like at Arsenal without the Frenchman, and Hill-Wood has offered his view, with claims Martinez would be the man to replace the man
As quoted on the Metro, he said:
‘I’m sure Arsene will have some input in choosing his successor,’ Hill-Wood told the Telegraph.
‘Roberto Martinez? He seems like a good man.’
