Spaniard on way to Arsenal as target tells ’employers’ he will leave

Arsenal are set to make a summer move for Espanyol stopper Kiko Casilla

The 27-year-old has just over a year left on his contract at Espanyol and is reportedly on Madrid’s wishlist, as they look to find a possible replacement for Diego Lopez or Iker Casillas, who have both been linked with a move to Manchester City

And they have identified the Espanyol man as a potential replacement, with many reports claiming Casilla had already informed his current employers that he will leave to join the giants.

However, that is not the case and the Spaniard has flat out denied the reports and the Fichajes.net website have claimed the London club are willing to bid this summer after being impressed with some of his performances.
