Spaniard tells £30 million man to stick with Man United this summer

David De Gea has been urged to stay at Manchester United this summer – by compatriot Pepe Reina.

De Gea is wanted by Real Madrid and the £50million-rated keeper, who is out of contract at the end of next season, has yet to commit to a new deal with United.

But the 24-year-old has been told to stay put by former Liverpool keeper Reina.

As quoted on the Daily Mirror, De Gea said: “He is one of the top goalkeepers in Europe and this year he has been superb.

“Maybe Real Madrid are looking for a goalkeeper and De Gea is one of the names suggested, but I think he should be happy enough to play for United.”
