News is coming through that three clubs are in contact with Arsenal over the possible signing of Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil.
Arenal are desperate to offload the German in order to reduce their massive wage bill and to raise funds for new player acquisitions and are looking for a fee in the region of £30 Million.
The latest reports are claiming that Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Besiktas are all in contact with the Gunners to buy the German.
The biggest hurdle to overcome though is not the transfer fee but Ozil’s £18 Million per year salary and that is a figure that none of the Turkish giants can get anywhere near being able to afford.
The only way a deal can happen is if the Gunners take on a huge slice of the player’s wages which may end up being what Arsenal have to do if they want to get the 30-year-old off their books.
There is also no guarantee that Ozil wants to leave North London, he has already made it clear that he is happy to sit out the final two years remaining on his bumper contract.
