Tottenham star Harry Kane is looking forward to his sides trip to Villa Park this weekend,, with the place holding a special place for him.
It was at Villa Park that Kane scored a last minute goal in 2014 which saw his career rise quickly in the squad to become one of Spurs permanent first team players.
Speaking with the club’s website the striker said “Obviously last season I managed to score a last-minute goal [at Villa Park]. I managed to score that and I think I started every Premier League game since so it definitely got the ball rolling.”
“I took the free-kick and it got quite a big deflection. As soon as it went in it was just pure emotion, it was an amazing feeling.”
“It was an amazing atmosphere and an amazing game for me, and it was kind of the start of the journey, so it’ll be great to go back there.”
