Arsene Wenger has all but confirmed Nicklas Bendtner’s Arsenal career is over.
The Danish forward was picked up by police after an incident with a taxi driver in his homeland, which has led to more question marks about his commitment.
And when quizzed about Bendtner in his pre-match press conference, manager Wenger said the striker did not have permission to travel to Copenhagen, before hinting that his career with the Gunners is all but finished.
‘I don’t know what happened,’ said the Frenchman
‘The only thing that is for sure, nobody gave him any permission to go to Copenhagen. He will be fined for that.
‘We will see what happens – but his contract is only until the end of the season.’ (Metro)
