Arsenal have been cleared to sign Manchester City defender Micah Richards in the summer.
Richards was linked with a move to the Emirates during the January transfer window, but the switch didn’t happen as City were keen to offer him a new deal
However, he rejected a new deal and now he has reportedly been told he can leave according to the Metro website.
Arsenal have maintained their interest in Richards since January and are now in pole position to try and sign him in the summer, as boss Arsene Wenger is keen on adding to his defensive options.
And the fact Richards can play all along the back four plus in midfield, he is seen as a real asset to the club
