Arsenal are keen on bringing in Real Madrid star Angel Di Maria this summer, but face a battle from Italian side Napoli to get a deal done, according to the SportsDirectNews website.
There has been some reports which have claimed Madrid President Florentino Perez is ready to get rid of Di Maria in the summer, as he wants Isco to have more game time.
Isco arrived from Malaga in the summer for a £23 million fee, however, the 21-year-old has only made 16 starts for Real Madrid in La Liga and has struggled to make an impression on Carlo Ancelotti’s side as of late
And according to reports, Perez is unhappy at the lack of playing time his star signing has received this season and will let Di Maria go in the summer.
And that will alert Arsenal, who are keen to add something very different to their attack
However, Napoli boss Rafael Benitez is confident of doing business with Madrid due to last summer’s successful deals which saw him sign Raul Albiol, Jose Callejon and Gonzalo Higuain from the Spanish giants, according to Sport Mediaset.
