Wenger makes Arsenal offer to bring impressive big man to London

Reports have claimed Arsenal have made a move for Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall, but have been rejected.

The Daily Mail says Arsenal have had an initial offer of around £6m rejected by Cardiff for Marshall, as the Welsh side feel they that he is worth a lot more than the amount Arsene Wenger has put on the table.

The Scottish goalkeeper won rave reviews last season despite the South Wales club being relegated, and Wenger needs competition for Wojciech Szczesny after the departure of Lukasz Fabianski to Swansea.
