Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could make an approach for Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony, but will have to pay £25 million according to the Fichajes.net website website.
The powerful Ivory Coast international has had a solid first season in the Premier League, having joined Swansea from Eredivisie side Vitesse just last summer.
The 25-year-old had a superb goal-scoring record in Dutch football, and has shown plenty of promise in his first campaign in the English game.
Arsenal have watched the player before during his time in Holland, and are now ready to renew their interest as they eye new signings upfront in the upcoming summer transfer window.
With only Olivier Giroud to pick from upfront this season, Wenger’s side have looked short of depth in that position, and Bony is the latest player to attract the Gunners’ interest
However, his manager Garry Monk, though, claimed it would take an ‘astronomical’ fee to prise him from the Liberty Stadium and now they will not accept anything less than £25 million.
