Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard admits he would love to see striker Didier Drogba back at Stamford Bridge.
Drogba was given a tremendous reception upon his return to London on Tuesday, as Chelsea eased past Galatasaray in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash.
And the striker is wanted back at the club, either as a ambassador or to play out his final days.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “Of course I’d like to see Didier back as a coach or as a player.
“The manager said before the game that you can’t see him not being part of the club in some shape or form.
“It’s up to him and the club, but he’s always going to be regarded as a legend and held in the top bracket in this club.
“I’m sure if he can give something back, I’m sure Didier would love to.”
